Mover’s Little Helper is a moving labor service affiliated with Uhaul and Emove. We simply unload and load the truck that the customer provides.
Before placing the order one should consider the following.
There is a 2 hour minimum per order, every hour that goes over will be paid in cash based on the rates stated on the Moving Help form.
Houses/Apts/Offices with more than one floor are going to require more time.Narrow stairways and/or paths will also require more time to safely move the furniture and belongings to and from location.
Tools such as dollies, carts, and casters make the move more efficient and faster.
Jobs that require traveling to multiple location will require extra time as well.
For example if a customer is moving from a 3 story house in one city 10 miles away to a 3rd floor apartment consider the Truck size and specify which items that are to be priority. A hour job such will require 5-8 hours and possibly a 3 man, especially if it’s a complete move.
Underestimating move time, truck size, disassembly/assembly of furniture will cost more in the long run. It is ideal for the customer to have everything ready if they want to maximize their time.
Keep in mind that during the duration of the time the moving crew will constantly working. South Floridian climate can be demanding especially during Summer months. Safety is our biggest concern hydration will necessary and these are also considerations to take when ordering service as well.
